Homeless
00:06, 2016.
People were gathering but she was nowhere to be found. Yet she was a lone survivor in the crowds.
Technically, her body was at the present moment. But her mind was wandering off to the place only she knew how to explain.
Her mind was thinking about him. About the memories. About how they use to play hide and seek with her little brother in their backyard. About how they used to scream each other's name when they travelled off a cliff and how they'd laugh each other's ass after then.
Her mind was litterally about him and him only. Its been 3 months after the fight. The only fight they had after 2 years of solid relationship. The one and only fight they had which destroyed everything. Everything and approximately leaving nothing left and shattering to pieces. Everything that they had ever build and stand for came crumbling to the ground with just a single voice-raised from him.
She broke to pieces, her heart, mostly. Taking in the fact that she wasn't ready to move on added some wreckage to her already broken heart. Seeing him posting happy pictures with her present girlfriend just sums it all up.
'He moved on, I'm sure,' she mumbled griefly to herself.
She was more lonely to the fact that she knew no one and entirely nobody in the crowd that she was in.
So there she was. Staring blankly at everyone and everything as if nothing means nothing and entirely nothing to her. Because the world she used to lived in, dissappeared completely by the moment he walked her out to the door, that night.
She was never feeling home anymore. Because to her, home was with him. Regardless to wherever it is. But for now. And only for now, she convinced herself. She was homeless.
